I chose to look at "The art of dreaming" as i feel that it links very well into my project. it explores the idea that if you can dream up an idea, you can make it happen. This links well to my project as it follows the process of designing and 'dreaming' up a character, and then subsequently bringing that character to life in the form of a costume. In moments when the podcast spoke of making the impossible seem possible in making the artist float with balloons, it reminded me that even if something seems difficult and somewhat impossible when designing and creating a character, there is a way to bring the creation to life. It has also inspired me to push myself further and possibly try things that i may otherwise have been too worried to try.
